Why Do I Run Out of Breath While Playing?

Quick exhaustion usually means wrong breathing technique or air waste.

Four Causes of Quick Breath Exhaustion

1. Chest Breathing

Shoulders rise, air is shallow. Switch to diaphragmatic breathing.

2. Embouchure Leaks

Corners and cheeks not sealed. Air escapes through gaps.

3. Over-Blowing

Thinking harder blowing = better sound. Reduce volume, increase efficiency.

4. Incomplete Inhalation

Waist doesn't visibly expand when inhaling.

Check Order

Embouchure seal → breathing technique → air volume control → inhalation depth
