Why
Low notes need wider, slower air ("warm air"), but beginners often use fast, narrow air ("cold air").
Fixes
- Air: Use "warm air" — wide and slow, like fogging a mirror
- Embouchure: Slightly more relaxed than middle register
- Throat: Keep open (pre-yawn space)
- Reed: Harder reeds make low notes harder
- Start in middle register: Find relaxed tone there first, then work down
Practice
Start from middle G, work down one note at a time. Stabilize each note before going lower.
